Responsibilities of Ansar and VDP ***

To assist law enforcement agencies in maintaining law and order in the country. *** To assist the defense forces in defending the independence of the country. *** Helping the common man during natural disasters. *** To assist in national development and socio-economic work under government direction. *** To assist the civil administration of the country. *** To co-operate with the police force in maintaining law and order. Such as: - National and local elections, selection and appointment of qualified Ansar and VDP in Durga Puja. *** Sending trainees to departmental training courses to provide training in various professions according to the qualifications of the platoon members / members in self-social development. *** Sewing, air conditioner, fridge, electrician, basic computer, motor driving, mobile phone set repair, Selection and training of qualified trainees for various vocational trainings including welding sweater knitting, poultry rearing and fish farming. *** To assist the upazila administration in various developmental works of the upazila.
