History of Kakilakura Union
Kakilakura Union was formed in 1914 during the British rule. The union covers an area of 10.18 km2. Kakilakura Union consists of 4 mouzas. The name of the union is Kakilakura as the Kakilakura mouza is huge in size. Earlier there were 3 wards of the union but now there are 9 wards. Its current population is 30604 people.
